About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Welder/Fabricator with plant fitting experience

to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role involving high-quality welding and fabrication work alongside the repair, maintenance, and modification of plant machinery. You'll work on everything from bespoke fabrication projects to overhaul and repair of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out MIG/TIG/ARC welding and fabrication to a high standard. Fabricate components, frames, brackets, guards, and bespoke parts from drawings or measurements. Diagnose and repair faults on plant machinery such as excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, rollers, and other mobile or static equipment. Perform servicing and preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment. Modify and improve existing components and attachments. Assist with breakdowns both on-site and in the workshop (company vehicle provided where required). Maintain accurate records of completed work and follow all site safety standards.

About You

Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator (MIG essential; TIG/ARC desirable). Background in plant fitting, mechanical repair, or similar mechanical trade (HGV/agricultural/engineering experience also considered). Ability to read and work from engineering drawings. Good understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems. Confident problem-solver with a strong work ethic. Full UK driving licence preferred. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: 16.00-23.00 per hour
