Monday - Thursday 39 hour working pattern

Perry of Oakley Ltd, a manufacturer of bulk materials handling equipment requires a person to join their Welding & Fabrication department. Key Skills

The ideal candidate will be flexible and energetic and willing to take a proactive approach to the welding & fabrication requirements in a busy engineering environment. The role is hands on and can be physically demanding due to the nature of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

Mig Welding mild steel and stainless steel, thickness ranging from 1mm up to 20mm Tig welding General fabrication including cutting and drilling Accurate reading of machine drawings Maintenance of work area Restocking of work area Supporting other teams in Production and Dispatch if required

Essential skills and experience:

A minimum of 2 years Mig and Tig welding. Ability to accurately read machine drawings. Excellent attention to detail. Able to work to deadlines. Experience using hand tools would be advantageous. Pro-active approach to work. Keen to be part of a team. Willing to learn and develop within the company.
