Position Summary:

Basic understanding of working within an engineering environment Performing routine mechanical tasks on small parts and components following company procedures Experience in metal fabrication and handling various metals Preferred skills include TIG and MIG welding expertise Safely and efficiently operate welding equipment Accurately use measurement tools like gauges and verniers Maintain high standards of quality consistently Keep the workspace clean and comply with health and safety regulations Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Communicate effectively with team members at all levels

Prior experience in assembly operations Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Strong problem-solving skills

Job Details:

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract, or Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break) Salary Range: 25,000 - 30,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities

Perform welding and fabrication tasks using various techniques, including TIG and MIG welding. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assemble metal components accurately. Utilize hand and power tools to shape and join materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Conduct routine inspections of finished products to verify adherence to specifications. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a safe working environment. Employ basic math skills to measure and cut materials precisely.
