Position Overview:

Possess a foundational knowledge of working within an engineering setting Carry out routine mechanical tasks on small parts and components in accordance with company procedures Have experience in metal fabrication and handling various types of metals Ideally skilled in TIG and MIG welding techniques Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently Use measurement tools such as gauges and verniers accurately Consistently uphold high-quality standards Keep the workspace tidy and adhere to health and safety regulations Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives Communicate effectively with team members across all levels
Key Qualifications:

Previous experience in assembly operations Ability to work independently and show initiative Strong problem-solving abilities

Job Details:

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract, or Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (including a 30-minute lunch break) Salary Range: 25,000 - 30,000 annually, depending on experience

Performing welding and fabrication tasks using techniques such as TIG and MIG welding Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings for precise assembly of metal parts Using hand and power tools to shape and join materials, ensuring quality workmanship Conducting routine inspections of finished products to confirm they meet specifications Collaborating with team members to improve workflow and maintain a safe working environment Employing basic math skills to measure and cut materials accurately
