Welder Fabricator

Overview

As Byworth Boilers continues to grow, we are recruiting for a hardworking and proactive

Welder Fabricator

to join our established yet growing team, on a permanent basis. The individual will play a significant role in supporting the department productivity and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Role Responsibilities:

This is a key process within the manufacturing process and requires excellent attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

- Mig welding

- Jig work

- Fabrication

- Automated welding

- Maintaining high levels of health and safety at all times

Candidate Profile:

- Hard working and a desire to help the business thrive

- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

- Ability to work without direct supervision and quality check own work

- A strong team player with a "can do" attitude and proactive approach to work

- Keen problem solver

- The ability to demonstrate effective time management and work to production deadlines

- A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work

Desirable Skills:

- Previous experience as a coded welder

- Experience operating saws, rollers, pressbreaks and drills

Candidate will be required to pass a weld test

The Package:

Salary: Hourly - Paid Weekly

Hours: Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 07.00 - 17.00 -

4 DAY WORKING WEEK

22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 3 years of service)

Pay: 14.50-15.50 per hour
