We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools to assemble components according to specifications. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using welding techniques. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Perform stick welding and other welding methods as required. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Familiarity with stick welding techniques is advantageous. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Pay: 40,000.00-70,000.00 per year
