Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, demonstrating both precision and attention to detail. This role involves working with metal components to create high-quality products that meet our stringent specifications.

Duties

Perform Mig and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components. Conduct sheet metal fabrication, ensuring accurate measurements and cuts for optimal fit and finish. Assemble finished products according to engineering drawings and specifications, maintaining high standards of workmanship. Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments or repairs as required. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding (Mig and Stick) and fabrication techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to metalworking. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Experience with assembly processes in a manufacturing setting is advantageous. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
