Role Description

Steel Frog Limited is seeking a highly proficient Welder & Fabricator with excellent understanding and knowledge of building sub-assemblies to full projects using mild steel and stainless-steel sheet metal and box section. The successful candidate will manufacture high-quality items in a timely fashion.

About the Role:

Role: Welder/Fabricator

Location: Langford, Bristol, UK

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent/ On-Site Position

Salary: 14.50- 18.50+ per hour (depending on skill set, experience and speed)

Essential Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (ideally 5+ years).

Proficient in fabrication, TIG/MIG welding, sheet metal, and framework.

Efficient work practices with a focus on both speed and quality, meeting production targets.

Skilled in reading, understanding, and working from technical drawings for metal assemblies.

Competent in metal finishing, including grinding and sanding for paint/powder coating readiness.

Proficient in working with mild steel and stainless-steel sheet metal and box section

Ability to build sub-assemblies and full projects

Able to identify weld quality, parts, jigs, and fixture types to complete metal assembly welding.

Strong workstation management ensuring equipment safety, tidiness, and end-of-day cleanup.

Committed to Health & Safety compliance and safe work practices.

Team player mentality, fostering knowledge sharing for improved efficiency and production.

Positive attitude and punctuality are essential.

Cutting, Drilling, Tapping & Grinding

Machining & Brake Press Work

Forklift Operator Certification

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:00pm/ Friday: 7:30am to 1:30pm (mandatory)
