Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with different materials, particularly sheet metal. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play an essential role in producing high-quality components that meet our stringent standards. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in making gates, railings, handrails and light fabrication and experience in MIG and MMA welding. Salary negotiable at interview.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and MMA welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to assemble components accurately Fabricate parts from sheet metal according to specifications Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, particularly MIG and MMA welding techniques Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication Experience in assembly processes is advantageous Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
