Job Description

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our Night shift team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabricating metal components, with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

A standard working week is 39 hours over 4 days 3 x 10 hours Monday to Wednesday. 9 hours Thursday

With a good level of overtime available .

Overtime paid at 40 h to 48 h at time and a half (23.25), 49 h + at Double time (30.00).

Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques

- working with in a team .

- Assemble and fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate power tools and hand tools effectively .
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Work with Sheet metal to create precise components.

-Meet productivity levels.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical knowledge for working with machinery and equipment.
- Experience in MIG welding techniques.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools for metalworking tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 16.00-16.50 per hour
