Job Description

We are looking for a welder fabricator to join our small team of 8. We are a welding and fabrication engineering business and the type of work we undertake is as follows:

Structural steel, on site installation of structural steel on building sites, manufacture and installation of gates, railings and staircases etc, welding repairs on agricultural equipment and HGV's and other various industrial steel projects. We also do fixed plant maintenance that involves mechanical engineering so any experience in this field would be a bonus.

The candidate would be mostly based at the workshop, welding and manufacturing structural steel beams and other steel components, however a small amount of site installation work will also be required. All site work is generally completed within one day. The Candidate would be required to help out with any field of work within the buisness as needed during busy times.

The ideal candidate would be hard working, able to work well within a team but also independently. Ideally a coded welder would be preferred, although we would be willing to take on a welder who isn't coded as long as they had the welding ability to be coded at the start of the job.

Working hours are 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Overtime hours are available when workload permits, but only between the hours of 7am-7pm. Overtime on Saturdays is also available during busy periods, at the choice of the employee. The hourly rate is dependant on experience and ability.

We are an ever expanding buisness that is growing month by month and looking for someone to come in and take on some of the workload and ideally take on more and more responsibility as time goes on.

Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour
