Job Description

Assemble and fabricate metal assemblies to drawings and quality standards and specifications.

Use hand tools, power tools and welding equipment to fabricate these assemblies.

Perform cutting, fabricating, welding, dressing, and finishing tasks on a variety of parts, primarily using carbon steel.

Read and interpret engineering drawings

Perform to a high standard of quality and meet ISO 9001 requirements.

Work collectively with a team and work with own initiative

Collaborate within a Lean manufacturing workshop environment to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.

Safety Standards: Maintain and promote high standards of health and safety in all aspects of the job.

Experience

Metal Fabrication - 3 years preferred

MIG / MAG / TIG

Working with Carbon Steel - Stainless Steel and Aluminium preferred.

Knowledge of ISO9001 quality control standards.

Salary

14.00 - 17.00 per hour depending on experience

Weekend overtime work available
