We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our Kress Workshop at Runtech Ltd. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role, carrying out welding and fabrication work on a range of specialist industrial equipment and heavy mobile plant. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team in a world-renowned steel manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

Perform welding and fabrication tasks on heavy plant. Perform: MIG & stick welding, arc air gouging, grinding/burning, basic visual inspection, control of welding consumables. Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals efficiently.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in an industrial setting. Proficient in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. Strong teamwork and communication skills. A welding certification. This role is physically demanding as you will be involved in heavy equipment, fabrication & welding.

Package:

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Annual salary circa 34,000 - 45,000 depending on experience Holidays: 22 days per annum + 8 Bank Holidays. Auto enrolled into company pension scheme. Uniform and PPE Provided.
The successful candidate will be subject to our induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing
