We are MM Engineering, located in Port Talbot, South Wales and are a fast growing company trusted by a range of UK-critical and multi-national organisations with protecting their most important and vulnerable assets and infrastructure.

We are looking for talented, dedicated and motivated people to come and join us as a Welder/Fabricator, constructing our products at our 20,000sq ft factory as part of our high-trained and dedicated manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately

Precision use of MIG welding sets on mild, stainless steel and aluminium, ensuring strong and clean welds

Programming of welding set to suitable specification

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Provide assistance in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to fabrication processes

Experience:

5 years' minimum experience in MIG welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium

Experience in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively

Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics

Pay is from 16 per hour with uplifts applied for overtime hours worked.

Employees start with a holiday entitlement of 22 days exclusive of bank holidays, and an auto-enrolment pension, as well as a corporate gym membership.
