Overview

Due to expansion, we are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with experience in Gate manufacturing primarily.

we are an extremely popular Gate manufacturing company in the northwest and pride ourselves in the quality of our work.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble Gates, Railings and other steel projects according to engineering specifications and drawings. Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to shape, cut, and finish metal products. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any fabrication issues.

Skills

Proficient in fabricating metal components with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge. Experience in MIG welding, along with other welding methods such as MIG or TIG is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Competent in using hand tools and power tools related to fabrication work. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during the fabrication process. Familiarity with sheet metal work is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

Pay: 12.50-20.00 per hour
