Job Description

Situated in the heart of the Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd is a privately owned engineering firm looking for a Welder/Fabricator to assist in our daily production.

Founded in 1995, the company occupies 14,000 sq ft, specialising in one-off bespoke projects, prototyping, architectural metalwork and batch manufacturing.

Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd, work with Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Plastics and Non-ferrous metals and are very proud to be certified in respect to EN-1090 for the execution of both Steel & Aluminium structures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' fabrication experience carrying out MIG & TIG welding working with Steel, Aluminium and Stainless.

Be enthusiastic, dedicated and proactive within the department to ensure department efficiency. Willingness to learn new skills and progress.

Title:

Welder/Fabricator

Duties

:

Working with the Production Manager.

Tig & Mig welding, cutting and drilling

Ensuring quality control in the jobs issued to you.

Working to customer drawings and specifications

Working closely with all department Managers

Working directly with clients, face to face.

Keeping the workshop clean and tidy

Use of general workshop machinery such as, guillotine, saws, welding sets.

Take on reasonable additional or different duties when asked to meet our reasonable business needs

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am until 3:30pm

Salary:

15.50 per hour

Overtime:

23.25 per hour, weekdays and Saturdays

Holiday:

28 days (including bank holidays)
