Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Welder/Fabricator

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-standard fabrication across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

MIG and TIG welding

to a high standard.

Prepare and size materials

accurately for fabrication.

Read and interpret fabrication drawings

to produce completed products. Carry out

measuring and preparation work

prior to manufacturing. Conduct

quality inspections

, including verifying materials and measurements against production plans. Maintain a

tidy and organised work area

, ensuring good housekeeping practices at all times. Work on both

batch and bespoke production

as required.

Key Skills and Attributes:

Proven experience in fabrication and welding. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Demonstrates initiative and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow clear, precise instructions.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour

Rochester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Fabrication: 3 years (preferred)
