We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, particularly MIG welding, and possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires proficiency in working with hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to fabricate metal components. Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of parts. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Assist in the assembly of components as required, ensuring all parts fit together correctly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, particularly MIG welding, with a strong understanding of fabrication techniques. Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
