We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. Duties
Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
Fabricate components according to technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring proper fit and finish
Inspect welded joints and fabricated parts for defects or inconsistencies
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality targets
Requirements
Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Solid knowledge of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical drawings
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Mechanical knowledge coupled with attention to detail and safety consciousness
Experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
