Overview

FloFuel Support ltd design and manufacture aircraft refuelling vehicles on a global basis for major airports. We also carry out on site servicing, repairs & calibration of all refuelling equipment across the UK and Ireland for commercial and private airfields

You will also be required to complete a medical and confined space training to facilitate tank entry inspection and cleaning.

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency with various materials and tools. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Duties

Fabricate components from sheet metal & Laser cut parts according to specifications and engineering drawings. Perform Tig welding and other welding techniques to assemble Pipe work Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out fabrication tasks. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication or welding process.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, particularly in Mig and Tig, is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to assemble components accurately, ensuring high-quality finishes. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail are crucial for success in this role.

Working hours 40 hours per week, Mon-Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm Friday 7.30am-2.00pm

23 days holiday plus bank holiday (with opportunity to earn 2 more with length of service)

Monthly attendance tool bonus

Salary: Dependent on experience

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
