Duties

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques on various parts Fabricate parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling using hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and welding Use hand tools and power tools to manipulate metal sheets, rods, and other components Conduct quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with specifications Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures Troubleshoot welding issues and perform basic repairs as needed

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding with a solid understanding of welding standards Experience with fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural steel Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining safety protocols Good organisational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 17.11-25.66 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
