Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, primarily using TIG welding techniques, to meet project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in sheet metal work, assembly, and the use of various hand and power tools. Duties



Perform TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring precision and quality standards are met Fabricate parts using appropriate welding techniques, primarily involving welding standards Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently during fabrication processes Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials according to technical drawings and specifications Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations Inspect finished welds and fabricated components for quality assurance purposes Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship

Requirements



Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication work Knowledge of welding standards and techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics Experience working with sheet metal and performing basic assembly tasks Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Candidates should possess relevant certifications or training in welding techniques. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills is highly valued. This position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about metalwork and fabrication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.76-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Work Location: In person
