Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced aluminium TIG welder/fabricator to join our bespoke manufacturing division that specialises in access platforms. As a welder/fabricator, you will be responsible for working with raw materials such as aluminium extrusions, castings, and flat bars to fabricate and weld high-quality access platforms.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and weld access platforms using TIG welding techniques with raw materials such as aluminium extrusions, castings, and flat bars.

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding.

Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble raw materials into finished products.

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.

Collaborate with other members of the team to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in aluminium TIG welding and fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant welding and fabrication qualifications.

We offer a competitive salary starting from 13 per hour to 15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications plus overtime calculated at x1.5.
