Do you have experience in Welding? We are seeking a dedicated Semi-Skilled Bench Welder with a focus on gates and railings.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both workshop fabrication and on-site installations. You will be working on a variety of projects, including custom gates, railings, and metalwork including structural steel fabrication, with opportunities to showcase your welding skills both in-house and on client sites.

50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The perfect candidate must be able to easily commute to our welding workshop in Wendover, Bucks. Nationwide travel will be required as well as an occasional stay away (Accommodation and sustenance provided.)

Role Responsibilities:

Structural Steel Work Fabricate gates, railings, and metalwork components from technical drawings in our workshop. Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding on mild steel and other metals as required. Attend client sites for installations, including site welding and fitting. Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications. Adhere to health and safety guidelines both in the workshop and on-site. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a welder, preferably with structural work, gates and railings. Competent in MIG/TIG/ ARC welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Comfortable working both in a workshop environment and on-site. Full UK driving licence (preferred). CSCS card (advantageous but not essential). Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Confident to loan work on smaller jobs.
