: Welder Fabricator

Brief Summary:

Reeco is a growing company that serves multiple industries with robotic end-of-line automation solutions, both in the UK and overseas. We are currently seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator in our manufacturing department.

As an engineer with proven skills and expertise in Welding, you will work as part of a team of engineers to deliver Robotic systems that meet project requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from CAD engineering drawings to fabricate stainless steel robot bases and components in line with specifications and production schedules.

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel materials to tight tolerances.

Prepare and clean steel prior to fabrication to ensure optimal weld quality.

Follow established welding, fabrication, and operational procedures.

Conduct visual inspections of welds and assemblies, identifying and reporting any non-conformances or defects.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment while minimising material waste and energy use.

Collaborate effectively with team members and support other production tasks as required by business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Recognised welding or mechanical engineering qualification (desirable).

Proven experience in stainless steel TIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Ability to read and interpret detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications.

Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop environment.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Self-motivated, with a positive "can-do" attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Exceptional time management and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.

Hours of work:

Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm. Lunchbreaks: 1:00-1:30pm

Total contracted hours 42.5 per week.
