Welder Fabricator Fitter

Colchester Rewinds Plant & Engineering Ltd are a well established mechanical engineering and fabrication company based in Colchester, servicing a vast sector of industries across East Anglia providing our clients with a reputable and reliable 24/7 breakdown services.

We are seeking new members to contribute to our current welding, fabrication and fitting team and develop the workforce to be able to supply the industry a level of high expertise and reliability.



Provide emergency mechanical breakdown service to our customers. Pre-planned maintenance across our customers sites. Design, construction and installation to customers requirements. Workshop Fabrication. On-site welding and fitting. Identifying problems and possible issues to plant and implement solutions. Working closely with our existing workforce. Based in Colchester working throughout East Anglia.
Qualifications & Experience

Relevant welding qualifications and time served experience. Relevant tickets and evidence of training for use of cutting. Knowledge and understanding of heavy plant and machinery desirable. Capable of working independently and enthusiasm to overcome issues. Capable of working at heights and operation of MEWPS. Proven ability to work in a safe manner in accordance with company policies and safety legislation. Candidates must recognise the importance to keep up to date with current sector safety requirements and be wiling to participate in any training as required, which will be provided. Fit and able due to the sometimes physically demanding aspects of the job role. Full driving licence.

20ph working on a 40 hour week. Overtime on enhanced hourly rates.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Call outs after hours paid on overtime rates. Weekend overtime work.
