Job Description

Ovec Systems Ltd, a market leader in the design and manufacturing of Automated Quality Assurance Equipment require a skilled Welder / Fabricator / Fitter to join its Cumbernauld based facility, G68 9HF.

Job Tasks included:

Fabrication of bespoke stainless steel feed rails used in transfer of customer products (TIG Welding).

Fabrication of Manifold Valve Assemblies (Silver Soldering)

Assist in preparation of components from suppliers including de-burring; drilling; tapping and assembly.

Skills Required:

MIG & TIG Welding

Silver Soldering

Additional Job Tasks included but not limited to:

Keep the shop clean, tidy and free from hazards

Cutting Metal to length + cleaning in preparation for CNC machine operators

Deliver and collect materials/components from customer's / suppliers facilities

Aid machinists in their duties as and when required

General workshop tasks and housekeeping

Skills Required:

Use of grinders / chop saw / band saw / pillar drill / hand power tools

Attention to detail and skilled at using a measuring tape to accurately mark, cut and drill

working from cutting lists/drawings

Qualifications:

Forklift license (desirable)

This is a full time position where the working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2.30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
