Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. Duties

Perform TIG welding and other welding processes on diverse materials, including sheet metal and structural components. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble metal parts accurately. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Conduct quality checks on welded joints and finished products to meet safety and quality standards. Assist in the assembly of metal structures and components as required. Maintain a clean, organised work area and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience in TIG welding, with a solid understanding of welding standards. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Strong knowledge of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles. Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances. Good understanding of safety procedures related to welding and fabrication environments. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues during fabrication or welding tasks. Prior experience with sheet metal work, assembly, and the use of various welding techniques is highly desirable. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Pay: 17.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
