Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for performing fabrication and welding tasks, maintaining high-quality to ensure production standards are meet within the agreed timeframes.
Objectives:
Measure, cut, form, and prepare aluminium components for fabrication. Fit and assemble aluminium parts, ensuring correct alignment and tolerances. Perform high-quality aluminium welding (MIG and/or TIG) to required specifications. Grind, dress, and finish welded joints for smooth appearance and structural integrity. Assemble sub-assemblies and attach them to the main structure. Operate and maintain fabrication tools, welding equipment, and safety gear. Maintain standards for Health and safety within department Take responsibility to ensure that the companys environmental policies are enforced in full
Qualifications / Experience
Ability to generate a positive project and team ethos Proven experience in aluminium fabrication and welding. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings. * Strong attention to detail and quality
