Welfare Site at Trinity Academy, Craighall Avenue, Edinburgh, EH6 4RT

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (8 hours per day)

We are seeking a diligent and reliable

Construction Site Welfare Cleaner

to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within all site welfare facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that toilets, washrooms, canteens, and break areas are safe, sanitary, and well-stocked for all site personnel, supporting the health, safety, and morale of the workforce.

This is a physically active role on a live construction site, requiring strict adherence to health, safety, and site security protocols. The ideal candidate will be experienced, trustworthy, and take pride in providing an essential service that keeps the site compliant and operational.

Duties



Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning tools and products. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to a good standard Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls as needed. Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition and report any faults or damages promptly. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities.

Experience



Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Good communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and client interactions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
