Purpose of the role
The Team Leader at Wethersfield is responsible for all elements of welfare, safeguarding and Administration for a large cohort of Service Users. Adhering to the details of the Standard Operating Procedures, the Team Leader responds to matters as they arise and oversees intervention from internal and external stakeholders.
With responsibility for the welfare team of employees and subcontractors, the Team Leader manages the duty roster and ensures the team are performing their duties correctly.

Duties and Responsibilities
Procedures
Supporting the Service User (SU)
Manage a caseload of Service Users on the Wethersfield site.
Signpost as necessary to the medical centre, support agencies, etc
Conduct regular visits to accommodation, and report any incidents, SU issues, absconders, across the Wethersfield site.
Ensure SUs are Moved On no later than the last date of payments to CRH.
Arrange any initial transport of SUs to their accommodation or any relocation as required.
Ensure that the welfare, health, and safety of SUs are maintained at all times.
Complete regular welfare checks of every SUs.
Managing the Wethersfield site infrastructure
Manage the working arrangements and roster for the welfare support team.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to arrange interventions.
Effect appropriate maintenance of the site's accommodation and communal areas.
Conduct monthly inspections and report defects
Ensure all items within property are replaced /repaired as required in line with inventory procedure
Make recommendations to the site manager regarding any relocations of SUs and termination of properties to provide more efficient use of portfolio/void management
Ensure the properties are maintained according to Health and Safety guidelines and company procedures
Ensure stores are maintained in line with purchasing procedure
Connect and Collaborate
Work closely with your line manager and team members
Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required
Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training
Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager
Lead the Wethersfield welfare team members on duty each shift, ensuring that they are performing their duties correctly.
Helping/providing cover for other team members as required
Attending team and other staff meetings
24-hour availability during any significant emergency

Keep up to date with all written and verbal communications (i.e., emails/messages/calls)
Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date according to company policies and procedures
Ensure appropriate property certification documentation is produced and recorded
Liaise closely with SU's, line manager, team members and other staff
Assist in the local stakeholder involvement process by attending meetings as required
Liaise with local support agencies to ensure relationships are maintained
