- THE ROLE -
You will contribute to the ambitions of the University's Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the implementation of a stepped approach to supporting student mental health and wellbeing. They will have an in-depth knowledge of the impact mental health can have on student experience, retention and achievement whilst at university. You will work as part of a team to deliver appropriate support and interventions to enable students to succeed in their studies.
You will manage a busy caseload of students, providing advice and guidance to students with a range of mental health and wellbeing issues in relation to access and inclusion to educational opportunities in line with equalities legislation.
You will work with stakeholders across the university to promote understanding of the impact of wellbeing and mental health issues across the student population, and to support the delivery of an inclusive university experience. You will contribute to the development and delivery of training and initiatives to staff and students in order to advance this work.
