Wellbeing Advisor Advisor with an Employability background
to join our team in Birmingham( Didcot and Wolverhampton ). This role focuses on providing tailored one-to-one mental health and employability support to individuals facing barriers to employment. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals manage their mental health conditions, build resilience, and develop essential employability skills to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalised support plans.
Provide one-to-one guidance on managing health conditions, building resilience, and exploring reasonable adjustments in the workplace.
Facilitate understanding of medication impacts and support clients in engaging with face-to-face services and appointments.
Deliver employability support strategies, including job coaching, CV writing, interview preparation, and job search techniques.
Utilise a range of psychological interventions and interpersonal skills to address mild to moderate mental health challenges such as Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and OCD.
Collaborate with external agencies, such as local employment services and community organisations, to facilitate access to opportunities.
Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their mental health and employability needs are met.
Conduct client-centred interviews to identify areas for change and provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including guided self-help and psycho-educational groups.
Stay updated on employability trends, mental health best practices, and relevant regulations to inform service delivery.
Commit to ongoing professional development within the fields of mental health and employability support.
Requirements:
Essential:
Undergraduate qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in providing mental health or employability support services to individuals facing barriers to employment.
Familiarity with primary and secondary care mental health services and an understanding of employability strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
Willingness to register with relevant accreditation bodies (e.g., British Psychological Society, National Counselling Society).
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
Commitment to personal and professional growth within the company.
Desired:
Postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields such as occupational, clinical, or counselling psychology.
Previous experience working with organisations such as the Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Justice, or NHS IAPT services.
