About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Wellbeing and Activities Project Worker to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting men who access the Gateway4Men project, delivering structured wellbeing sessions, providing one-to-one support, and helping clients access relevant services.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a range of holistic, wellbeing and social activities within the centre.
Offer one-to-one support around housing, benefits, budgeting, debt management, and emotional wellbeing.
Signpost and make referrals to relevant external agencies as required.
Work closely with other members of the Cumbria Gateway team and external agencies to ensure clients receive holistic and continuous support.
What we are looking for:
Experience of working with adults in a support or community setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Confident in liaising with professionals and making referrals to external services.
Ability to facilitate group sessions and support clients in a structured yet flexible way.
Proficient in using phone, email, and basic IT tools.
Organised, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference.
Desirable (but not essential):
Working knowledge of housing and benefits systems
Experience in working for a 'not for profit' organisation

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
