Title: Wellbeing and Support Hub Administrator

Salary: \xc2\xa319,838 - \xc2\xa320,478 per annum

Hours/Contract: Full Time - 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Based: Cardiff and The Vale Hospice

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Wellbeing and Support Hub (WaSH) Team at the Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth. You will be responsible for providing support to the WaSH including the coordination of patient/carer appointments, supporting arrangements for activity workshops and responding to any general enquiries that WaSH receives. You will have the opportunity to help organise and facilitate our arts and crafts workshops, seated exercise classes and dementia activity groups.

As the first point of contact for our patients, carers, and external partners, you will have a keen eye for detail, a friendly and approachable manner and put the person at the heart of everything you do.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent planning, administrative and organisational skills.
  • High level of discretion while dealing with confidential information
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of general office systems such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced service user facing role.
  • Ability to interact sensitively and effectively with people living with a terminal illness and their carers.
