ABOUT YOU

:


You will have a demonstrable interest and/or experience in Wellbeing at Work.

Current or previous role in HR, Level 3 or 5 CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential

Experience in a policy or communications role desirable but not essential

Experience of managing large scale tasks and activities including working within financial budgets Excellent all-round communications skills, verbal, written and aural, particularly the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a range of audiences Experience or ability to develop and maintain administrative and other relevant systems

Experience of drafting, editing, and producing communication in a variety of formats including uploading and editing content on the company intranet and website and other social media Exceptional knowledge of Wellbeing matters with a commitment to continuous personal development and learning in this area Demonstrable commercial experience in operating within a unionised manufacturing, FMCG or engineering environment,

Excellent customer service skills to be able to respond and deal with a range of stakeholders and queries Excellent IT skills, able to use O365 and other systems proficiently Ability to understand and analyse and present complex information including research reports, policy documents and legislation

Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver them to tight deadlines Ability to work in a team with a positive, problem-solving approach Ability to organise events including large meetings, workshops, and activities

Ability to work on own initiative with a flexible and adaptable approach

Knowledge of current health, employment or disability policy areas and how they impact on Wellbeing

Ability to always maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy

ABOUT THE ROLE:







Due to internal progression applications are invited for the Role of Wellbeing Officer. Working as part of the HR team you will be responsible for the provision of a cost-effective, operational, generalist Wellbeing solution to our most important asset our Employees. Partnering with key stakeholders (including Department Managers, Department Heads, and the wider Management Teams), you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust strategies with the objective of improving attendance, the health and wellbeing of our employees and instilling a culture of Wellbeing across the business. You will be hands-on across all levels within the organisation, and in addition will be responsible for suggesting opportunities and assisting in the development and implementation of a compelling Wellbeing strategy for the organisation to meet the future people needs of the business.





To be successful in this role you will be responsible for generating ideas and delivering solutions as well as supporting our employees from across the business.
