About our Wellbeing Schemes
Our wellbeing schemes provide one and two-bedroom apartments for people aged 55+, set within welcoming, supportive communities that want to live independently.
Some of our schemes offer:
Communal gardens, kitchens and lounges
A strong sense of community and belonging
A Wellbeing Officer that is on site, however days and times vary in each scheme but these are only during working hours Monday - Friday.
As a result, customers are able to live independently in their own homes, with the reassurance that help, advice and social connection are close by when needed.
About the Role
As a Wellbeing Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting customers aged 55+ who live within our wellbeing schemes or in the wider community.
Focusing on What Matters to each individual, you'll:
Provide wellbeing support tailored to individual needs
Organise and deliver activities that promote independence and connection
Help reduce loneliness and support people to age well
Signpost and work alongside partner agencies where appropriate
You'll be based on site within our wellbeing schemes up to five days a week, working closely with housing colleagues and external partners to provide a joined-up, person-centred service, however a flexible approach is required to work across all schemes within the borough of Walsall and our new site 'Nightingale House' in Wolverhamton.
