Please note;
As this post will involve work in a men's only service, there is a genuine occupational requirement to ensure that we recruit male Wellbeing Support Workers and therefore these posts are only open to men (exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010).
The role of Wellbeing Support Worker is based within GCA's Men's Health and Wellbeing service. The role involves providing one-to-one health and wellbeing support to men who have experienced both trauma and addiction. Facilitating groups will also be a key part of this role. The aim of this role is to help individuals to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
