The Role:

As

Wellness and Activities Manager

, you will lead and manage the wellbeing and activities teams across The Grange and The Lodge. You'll develop bespoke programmes to meet individual and collective social needs, oversee events and village-wide activities, and build strong partnerships with local businesses and community groups. You'll also manage social media platforms to promote the village and ensure performance management and staff development are always compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging activity programmes tailored to residents' needs Lead and supervise the activities and wellbeing teams, including rotas and performance reviews Organise village-wide events and celebrations Build partnerships with local businesses and community groups Manage social media platforms to showcase activities and promote the village Monitor budgets and ensure activities are cost-effective and impactful Gather feedback from residents and families to continuously improve services Attend meetings, forums, and workshops to drive social inclusion across Buckshaw Village

About You:

Strong leadership and organisational skills Experience in activities coordination, wellbeing, or social care settings Creative and passionate about enhancing quality of life Excellent communication and teamwork skills Driving licence with business insurance required
