About The Role



As a Wellness Facilities Maintenance Assistant at The Salthouse Hotel, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and safe operation of our outdoor wellness facilities, including our luxury hot tubs and thermal areas. This hands-on role involves daily checks, water quality testing, minor repairs, and general upkeep to ensure all wellness amenities meet high standards for health, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

In addition to spa-related duties, you will support the wider maintenance team with general hotel repairs, landscaping tasks, and routine checks across the property. This is an active, varied role suited to someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to keeping both guests and facilities well cared for.

Key Responsibilities



Your main duties & responsibilities in this role are but not limited to:

Carry out daily cleaning and sanitising of outdoor hot tubs and thermal spa facilities

Conduct regular water testing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Maintain accurate records of chemical levels, usage, and maintenance checks

Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on spa equipment and hotel facilities

Monitor and report any faults or safety issues promptly to the maintenance supervisor

Assist with general upkeep of the hotel grounds and public outdoor areas

Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are used and stored safely

Respond to guest requests or maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner

Support the housekeeping and maintenance teams during busy periods or special events

Uphold the hotel's commitment to cleanliness, safety, and exceptional guest experience

Essential Criteria For The Role



Must hold Full Clean UK Driving License as role will involve driving
