We are on the lookout for a Wellness Futures & Medical Lead to support the development of ventures within both core H&B strategies and Wellness Futures - a digital innovation business unit with Holland & Barrett to drive H&B vision of impact on the wellness of 100m lives.

Forming part of the clinical team, this full time role will work across several exciting projects providing clinical expertise, strategy and medical oversight as the company grows it\'s offerings. The role will also involve ensuring medical and scientific accuracy with regards content, products, testing and services, supporting the highest customer safety and quality standards. H&B has ambitious plans to diversify and deepen wellness experiences for customers, providing holistic and innovative solutions. A background or strong interest in lifestyle medicine, preventative health or general wellness is key.

The Role:

The Purpose of the Role:

  • Science & Wellness expertise
  • Medical expertise and clinical input to a variety of stakeholders and functions across the business
  • Provide guidance on clinical guardrails, safety and quality of care, helping to navigate the digital landscape
  • New Digital Product Development
  • To support Ivie: our testing and health prevention brand - working on development of products, content, behaviour change programmes and services
  • Supporting wellness futures ventures: providing clinical expertise and guidance throughout the product or service development lifecycle
  • Providing clinical insight to H&B core in new and existing product development projects
  • Business Development
  • To participate in external networking and events when needed
  • Support the partnerships and propositions teams to drive pilot development and to identify future opportunities
  • Marketing & Content
  • Responsible for creating & curating content that supports the range of productsor services
  • Work with various content teams to align clinical narratives
  • Support corporate affairs/ PR campaigns
  • Public Affairs
  • Work with the Public Affairs team and contribute towards the positioning of H&B as a thought leader and expert of health & wellbeing topics through press, events and communication campaigns
  • Services oversight
  • Work closely with the Medical Head and Governance lead in the management of external and internal service providers i.e phlebotomy partners, doctors reporting as well
  • Supporting guidance on regulatory issues, risk management and standard operating procedures
The Person:

Key Requirements:
  • Clinical professional with experience in service design and ability to translate clinical pathways into a customer-centric commercial organisation
  • More than 8 years in clinical practice and healthcare digital industry
  • Active GMC registration is desirable but not essential
  • Preferable to have worked in digital health/ start-up setting
  • An understanding of the regulatory environment for health tech and services in helping shape what we can and can\'t do
  • A strong interest or background in lifestyle medicine, health prevention or general wellness
