Overview:

Cylch Meithrin Gellionnen is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong management and leadership skills, particularly in childcare settings. You will support the daily running of our Cylch, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children.

Essential:

Strong written and spoken Welsh language skills Level 3 qualification in Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development

Key Duties:

Assist in planning and delivering activities that promote children's learning and development Supervise children during play and structured activities, ensuring their safety and well-being Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere Maintain a clean, organised, and safe Cylch environment Support the lead educator in managing behaviour and implementing effective strategies Travel to local venues for outings or events as required, ensuring safe transportation of children

Experience & Skills:

Experience working with children in a Cylch, nursery, or early years setting Strong communication skills in both Welsh and English Leadership or management experience within a childcare environment is desirable Knowledge of early years education principles and practices A valid driving licence is preferred
