Salary:

12.75 - 14.00 per hour, depending on experience

: 37.5 per week

Job Summary -



Main /Clinical Duties



New registration health checks Height /weight/body mass index assessments Basic medical history Health Promotion including advice on diet, exercise, smoking cessation Sexual Health advice. Cytology Screening advice Breast awareness advice Smoking cessation sessions as intermediary advisor Blood pressure monitoring Venepuncture Assist with routine screening of all asthma, COPD, diabetic and IHD patients Assist with Spirometry under supervision of primary care nurses Urinalysis ECG recording Act as chaperone/assist with clinical examination as required Act as patient's advocate promoting patient's point of view to others Maintain accurate records of patient care in electronic format using correct codes Report changes in condition of patient/areas of concern to relevant member of clinical staff and ensure documented action is taken To follow relevant protocols, guidelines and best practice, e.g. local protocols, NICE guidance
