Job Title: Western Storm Physiotherapist (2 x roles Available)

Accountable to: Western Storm Lead Physiotherapist

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until January 31st 2025

Hours: 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week \xe2\x80\x93 evenings and weekends will be required)

Salary: \xc2\xa333,000 (pro rata)

Location: 1 x North role (Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Wales)

1 x South role (Somerset, Devon Cornwall)

Our Sports Science and Medicine Team is expanding! We have two exciting part time opportunities for experienced practitioners to fulfil the role of Western Storm Physiotherapists in the north and south of the region. These senior leadership roles will work closely with the CMO to ensure that holistic, high quality medical care is delivered across the whole pathway.

In this role you will need to carry out accurate and effective assessments, diagnoses, treatments and rehabilitation programs, oversee injury management programs, support the Lead Physiotherapist in return-to-play planning, lead on pathway screening activities, manage records and ensure a high level of medical governance is maintained. You will regularly communicate with the science and medicine team regarding the welfare of players and ensure all medical requirements are in place for all Western Storm activity. Safeguarding responsibilities are fundamental in this role and you will be required to demonstrate your ongoing commitment through acting within our code of conduct and participating in regular training.
