Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes across various projects. Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint using spray equipment. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during surface preparation and finishing tasks. Conduct minor repairs or touch-ups to achieve smooth and even finishes. Assist with fabrication or assembly tasks as needed to support project requirements. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting, warehouse painting, or related fields is preferred. Mechanical knowledge relevant to handling tools and equipment used in painting and fabrication. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic fabrication techniques. Good Time Keeping Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
