We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced wet trades/bricklayer to play an important role in shaping some of our unique projects.

Artel31 are a design and build firm. Spread across our design and construction teams, we work together to create sustainable, bespoke and beautiful projects.

As a Masonry Worker, you will be responsible for laying blocks, bricks and other masonry materials to construct buildings, walls, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Measuring and marking out building sites, following architectural plans and specifications Mixing and preparing mortar, and laying bricks and other masonry materials to construct walls, buildings, and other structures Cutting bricks to size and shape, and fitting them into place using hand tools and power tools as required Repairing and maintaining existing brickwork and masonry structures Ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and site rules Working collaboratively with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard
Skills and Experience:

Experience in bricklaying/stone work/paving and or general building. Strong practical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders Commitment to working safely and adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures
Essentials Requirements

- Transport to sites within a 15/20 mile radius of our main office in central Chippenham.

- Work permit for UK

This is a full-time role with a salary from 30k dependent on experience. We offer benefits of 30 days holiday a year (including bank holidays), a group life policy and an EAP.
