Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime. Diagnose faults accurately and perform repairs using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Assist with the installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment or systems. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including safe handling of heavy components. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. Assist in training junior staff or apprentices when required. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely as part of maintenance or installation procedures.

Experience

Proven experience working as a Technician or in a similar maintenance role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Experience in maintenance, repair, or installation of industrial or commercial equipment is desirable. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to provide high-quality customer service in a professional manner. Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments is essential.
