Job Description

Setnix ltd is a Part 145 approved Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul organisation based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Specialising in the repair of aircraft Wheels, brakes and Electrical Equipment. We are currently looking for someone to join our Wheels and brakes team.

Purpose of the job:

Individuals will be responsible for disassembly, cleaning, repair and reassembly of aircraft wheels and brakes in accordance with the relevant Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) Replacing of failed or damaged parts in accordance with the CMM. Inspecting and testing of wheel and brake components.
Requirements.

A background in engineering or aviation with previous experience in a wheel's shop would be beneficial. Experience in reading and understanding CMM's and technical drawings. Hands on and proficient with basic tools.
Qualifications:

Qualifications in Engineering or related field beneficial but not essential.

Prior experience in wheels and brakes shop / engineering background beneficial but not essential. On the job training provided.
