The Role



The Xbroker Account Handler is responsible for contributing to the growth of the business by administering day-to-day operations of the Xbroker Department and back-office systems. The XBroker Account Handler will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our brokerage services. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Principle Accountabilities



System Work:

Creating Client Records

Populating Risk Information

Attaching all supporting documentation to record and updating notes

Assist in the preparation, issuance, and maintenance of insurance policies.

Ensure that all policy documentation is complete and accurate.

Enter and update client and policy information in the company's database.

Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.

Generate reports as required.

Enquires Handling:

Chasing brokers for responses to Underwriting Queries

Updating system accordingly

Other Admin

Keeping Bible up to date (Monday.com)

Ad Hoc support

Provide administrative assistance to brokers, including preparing and managing correspondence, reports, and documents.

Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain and organise files, both electronic and paper-based

Skills and Abilities



Demonstrate an awareness and compliance with the FCA principles for business including our obligations under Consumer Duty

Comply with the Data Protection Regulations both in the office and in communications with clients.

Enforce the Anti-Money Laundering procedures whilst dealing with clients.

Have a good understanding of complaint handling and company processes and procedures for dealing with them.

To comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.

To have an excellent understanding of products in your area.

To ensure your product knowledge is consistently up to date through continual personal development and the attendance of workshops and training sessions provided.

Achieved or working towards the Chartered Institute of Insurers Certificate.

To use relevant software packages and required business systems in work production.

To have an understanding of Microsoft Outlook.

Access, monitor and manage own performance levels through MI.

To have or gain an excellent understanding of our regulators.

Develop a deep understanding of our compliance criteria.

Demonstrate excellent understanding of the role of the FCA in the insurance industry.

Complete all annual mandatory learning as set by the company.

To provide written communications to company standards.

To communicate verbally in a professional and polite manner.

Able to listen effectively.

Have excellent negotiation skills.

A high level of accuracy whilst dealing with sales and enquiries.

To ensure all information is input correctly on to Moorhouse computer systems.

Provide an exceptional level of service in line with behavioural standards to internal and external customers.

Project a polite and professional image to all customers through all types of communications.

From 24,000 per year

Schedule

:

Core business hours 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm Friday This role will typically work 37.5 hours Flexibility is required for all roles to support business needs.

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
