A respected and expanding electrical distributor is looking for an ambitious Senior Sales Executive to strengthen our team. This role suits a commercially minded professional who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering consistent results in a dynamic setting.
Key Duties
Grow and maintain a portfolio of important customers, ensuring long-term loyalty.
Carry out outbound calls to uncover new prospects and follow up on enquiries.
Actively pursue new sales opportunities across both existing clients and fresh markets.
Support purchasing and inventory functions, negotiating with suppliers for the best value.
Advise customers on product selection and provide technical guidance when required.
Work closely with colleagues to guarantee accurate order handling and exceptional service.
Candidate Profile
Previous sales experience within the electrical distribution/wholesale sector (ideally 2+ years).
In-depth knowledge of electrical materials and the supply chain.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
